In the supply chain and logistics management, using the new technology is very necessary and important. New technologies are including software, applications and etc. whether advanced technology could enhance the process of logistics and supply chain. In the article, some new technologies are examined the influences on the process of logistics and supply; they are OpenStreetMap, T-Traco platform, and other Internet technologies.
As can be seen in the Figure 1, there are four functions associated with the suppliers, manufactures, distributions and retailers/consumers, that is buy, make, move and sell.
Advanced technology can improve transportation routes and methods. John T. Yee and Seog-Chan Oh.
