In almost every work environment,team work is certainly significant. No man is an island, entire of himself. So team work is very important, especially doing something very complicated. Everyone gets his parts done, and then the whole project may be done. Not just one person can handle all of the stuff. In the teamwork, the most vital component is team player.
Do you want to be a great team player? To be an excellent team player, except for meeting your work on the time, being candid, and adapting your work environment quickly, you also need to know about another something. There are many powerful factors contributing to be an excellent team player.
As far as I am concerned, some people pay most attention to how to be a team player who are effective in a team. The advantage of teamwork will be recognized by more people. It is important to feel that I’m part of the team. Every people play their different role in the teamwork. Different people are used to different team player style. People always have a set of actions suit themselves. As a team player. And may be your team leader would lay a strategy suit you really well. Proceed to the next step and then you will become the more effective member and see a victim in sight. In case you definitely certain about your team player style, your effectiveness can be increased very easily by it as a team player in the team. Do you know what kind of team player style you are? I bet you must really want to know. There is a team player survey that you will know which kind of team player style you are after you complete it. The team will be helped develop a profile of team strengths by the survey and team leader will discuss strategies for increasing team effectiveness on the basis of the team player survey .
After I had done the team player survey, my highest scores is 47 which designates my primary team-player style is Challenger. According to the result of the team player survey that I was complete, I’m outgoing, i like to help other people even enjoy working with them. I enjoy the team spirit and I’m understood of what others need. Provided you query the goals, methods, and even the mores of the team, you are the Challenger ,you are not afraid of your leader, you encourage the team to take well- conceived risks. Most people think you are far from the team though they maybe appreciate the value of your openness. In some time, you must remember you are a part of a team ,you still have some team co-workers. Caring about other people’s view is a skill on the way to learn how get along with other cooperator in a team. You can believe your victim is in sight. You are not only one team player style but you may be so many mixed team player style. The highest scores you get just indicate your primary style that is you most often do something in this way. In the team player survey, there are other more three team player styles just as contributing, collaborator and communicator. People will describe you as reliable, authoritative, responsible, and organized if your team player style is contributing. If you enjoy providing good technical information and material to the team, does his or her homework, and uses their resources wisely to push the team to high performance standards, so you are contributing. And the collaborator team player style is forecast, goal directed and imaginative. People in this style may fail to fully close attention to the basic team tasks or to revisit the mission. Most people would describe communication style people are supportive, considerate, enthusiastic, relaxed, and tactful. Provided you are an effective listener and auxiliary of involvement even with consensus building, retroactive, contradict resolution,contradict resolution, and the building of an unofficial, you are the Communicator.
This team player survey not means you are the only one style people. The lowest scores just indicate that team player style is your least team player active style. My result from the team player survey illustrate that my low active style are contributing style and collaborator style. Perhaps goal and process is not quite my style as a team member.
From the team player survey you will know about your strengths in a team work so that you can use your strengths fully to help the team be outstanding and brilliant. A combination of talent, behavior and skills or knowledge can be seen as your strength, it can be the powerful factors to produce a successful and achievable result. For example, my ability to be flexible can be seen as my strength. And I've had to adjust my style to the new environment for several times. Then I can use this strength to help my team successful as the one member in the team.
Working together over time, a team with thousands of coordinated members ranging from two people, they have created the technology which you are using now to sit at your computer and read these words about how being a team player. That conceivably have achieved this on themselves is unimaginable.
How to be a good team player have no shortage of material. By the way scouring the internet and the bookshops will help with developing vital team skills just as collaboration, commitment, communication, creativity, tenacity adaptability and focus on the goal. If you are a team player it will give you an excellent beginning on your road to becoming the person almost every people wants to have in their team. Except fastening on your will power and your conscious goals, it will push you to reconnect with the help of your deepest drives and obtain power from them. Team player is a center in the team and so vital like people’s heart.
