This case is mainly about the motivations,the management skills and leadership. Fred Tuddenham is the leader of Kev’sAutoworks. His employees in the workshop are facing a challenge that one of them isostracized by others for his bad behaviors. Bob Miller is a newcomer to the workshop who brings a large account of trucks to Kev’s. Due to the imperfect management and the lack of leadership skill they leader has, which imply that Miller is not satisfied with the environment of the workshop both physically and psychologically.To layoff Miller is facing the risk of losing the account of Miller trucks, so the problem is simply that how to establish a stable structure that every employee is efficient in work as well as in harmony. According to the principles of management such as Benefit Principle, the Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs and some other theories, Fred Tuddenham is encouraged to hold a meeting to solve the conflict between Miller and other employees.
