2. Introduction

China is a state transiting from poverty to riches, from central planned communism to the market economic. There is a strongly hierarchical in Chinese society and a person’s rank marks difference. Chinese are very strong values with: the family, the group loyalty, and the respect for hierarchy and the preference for harmony. (Bucknall, 2002) moreover, a successful management in China may depend on the ability to manage in Chinese style, which relate with Chinese business culture. (Ambler, Xi, Witzel, 2004) Hofstede’s Dimension of national culture is related work value in workplace, (Hofstede, 1988) that means culture will affect people’s http://www.51lunwen.org/mba/2012/0604/1824451000.html  work in workplace. Moreover, the manager will directly affect the employees and their innovation ability, for example, the empowerment that linked with Power distance. This phenomenon that national culture influences a lot in corporate operations and employee innovations always exists in other countries beyond China. However, till now, there is no systematic analysis exploring the relationship between national culture and employee innovation. As a Chinese student, the hot issue caught my attention. This paper would focus on the effects Chinese culture has on the employee innovation.
